Germany

Since May 2022, the artist, who survived the catastrophic hell of Mariupol with concussion and starvation and the deaths of acquaintances and friends, has been rebuilding his artistic potential in Germany.

The artist travelled to Europe to look for his relatives, contact with whom had been lost during the war. When Eugenius Sensialis learned that reunification was possible in Germany, he travelled to Hemer with the help of friends. This encounter gave him new strength. In the mountains of Sauerland he created a series of paintings and sculptures, which delighted the locals.

Together with his children, the artist moves to Siegen, where he begins a new project.

From October 2022 he creates the collection 'Rising from the Ashes'. It is a series of paintings based on graphic drawings which were burned in his house.

At the same time, the artist is restoring several paintings that he managed to salvage from the burning house.

"The paintings served as insulation for me to save food for my children and granddaughters whom I lost during the war, but thank God they have now been found and are safe.

These paintings were also my bedding when my wife and I were fleeing bombing, rocket fire and artillery fire when over 800 heavy shells exploded every day in the basement in Mariupol.

Life goes on and the painting is being restored. At the same time four Multisens stories for children and adults, illustrated in great detail, are being sent to German publishers. And also a novel about the events in Mariupol from the early days of the war with photos and illustrations by the author," said the author of Multisens.
